I have followed the art of Maria Chekhovskaya for a while. The vulnerability she captures, the trust she builds with her subjects have always fascinated me. Last time she visited Paris (before finally moving here) I managed to get a personal shoot with her, it was beautiful and those photographs will always be very special to me. I then was lucky to assist Maria during her photoshoot for Kimhekim and get a few behind the scenes photographs of her hypnotic process and a mesmerising model Anna Pavlenko.
